Acupuncture Effects

During an Acute Gout Attack:

  • Pain Relieve

  • Swelling Reduction

  • Inflammation Reduction

Gout Pain Relief

One of the best treatments to tackle gout pain during an acute attack is acupuncture.

We use:

  • Dr. Tan style acupuncture, also known as acupuncture 1-2-3

  • "Bone swelling" Tung acupuncture points

Stress Relief by Acupuncture

Mental Stress is a known factor in Gout.

Acupuncture can reduce stress, increase parasympathetic tone.

The research on this topic confirmed that acupuncture stimulates the release of hormones and signaling substance that regulates the parasympathetic nervous system.

Other Acupuncture Styles

Beside Tan & Tung style acupuncture, we use in The Gout Clinic also:

  • Auriculotherapy

  • Scalp Acupuncture

  • Korean hand Acupuncture

  • Korean SaAm Acupuncture

  • Abdominal Acupuncture

  • Nose Acupuncture

  • Navel Acupuncture

  • Electro-Acupuncture

  • Motor point release

  • Trigger Point release or Dry Needling

Is Gout Acupuncture Painfull?

Most people feel nothing, minimal discomfort, or sometimes a light electrical sensation when the thin acupuncture needles are inserted.

During treatment, the needles produce a slight sensation of pressure, or warmth. Many patients sleep during treatment.

Patient Scanning

We screen our patients with Acugraph*,

and balance "the communication in the body" to achieve ideal healing conditions.

Electro-Acupuncture Gout Treatment

Electro-Acupuncture

Treating Chronic Inflammation

With Electro-acupuncture on internal medicine Spleen Points, we can restore homeostasis in the Spleen.

Treating the Spleen is extremely important for Gout patients.

When we normalize the TNF production in the Spleen.

Gout attacks will not occur any more.

You still can have high Uric Acid Levels, but no more gout attacks.

Look for more information on TNF in the FAQ section.

Electro-Acupuncture Gout Treatments

Treating The Root of Gout

With Electro-acupuncture on internal medicine Tung Points, we can restore homeostasis in important Gout organs like the Liver and kidney.

Treating Gout Pain

Or we can just treat Gout Pain.

Electro-Acupuncture is often used as an Anesthesia during classical surgeries.

It works by the release of powerful neurotransmitters and transforms Gout Pain into a dull ache, an annoying but endurable pressure.

Treating  Gout Related Conditions

Electro-Acupuncture can treat Gout Related Conditions, see FAQ.

We just mention here Neuropathy,

which is often difficult to treat with other therapies.

Deep Spinal Nerve Needling Gout Treatment

DeepSpinalNerveNeedling

Innovative Gout Treatment

Our Deep Spinal Nerve Organ treatment is based on CPENS of Dr. Craig.

We use new electric patterns that make the therapy more efficient.

By stimulating the anterior root of specific spinal nerves we activate neural crest cells (stem cells).

These neural crest cells are than going to treat the respective organs, Liver, Spleen, and Kidney, tackling the root of Gout.

Deep Spinal Electro-Acupuncture organ treatment has become since 2017

our primary Gout Treatment.

The treatment is not painful, and 100% safe.

We perform these treatments every day.

Motor Point Release and Dry Needling for Gout

TriggerPointRelease.png

Motor Point Release as a Gout Treatment

By overuse or abuse, muscles can become inhibited.

The muscle becomes harder, weaker and shorter.

This can result in;

  • Arthritis kind of joint pains

  • Inflamed tendons (e.g. Tendinitis)

  • Inflamed nerves (e.g. Sciatica)

  • Decreased Range Of Motion (ROM) of the respective joints

  • Painful or tender muscle

  • Decreased local circulation (muscle squeeze arteries, veins, and lymph vessels

During Motor Point Gout Therapy, we insert an acupuncture needle in the motor point of a muscle.

The muscle will twitch and is instantly relaxed, there will be no sign anymore of the related symptoms.

The therapy will release pressure (pain) on joint structures, nerves, arteries, vanes and lymph vessels.

This results in improved local blood flow and Uric Acid evacuation.

We always stimulate the needles by electrical pulses, this produces periodically twitching of the muscles, and in pumping out lymph and Uric Acid.

Dry Needling as a Gout Treatment

Dry Needling is very similar to Motor Point Release.

Instead of Muscle Motor Points, we treat Hard Nuts, Myofascial Trigger Points, or Hard Taut Bands (muscle damage) of the muscle.

Resulting in instant relaxing of the muscle.
